Outlook Express Alias's

I'm using Outlook Express 6.0 and when I send an email, the email show
that it is coming
from the account I originally set up instead of my alias, which is muc
easier to remember.
I use Verizon DSL and have talked to their support people and they'v
told me how to
correct the problem, which I have, but it still doesn't work. Any idea
would be
appreciated.

Open Outlook Express, click File, click Switch Identity and select the user
you want to switch to.

Type id in the Index in Outlook Express HELP.

Thanks, but didn't help. People still getting my primary address
instead of my alias. Verizon
is looking into it... again.

When creating a new e-mail (or reply/forward), check to see if you have a
From textbox and a drop-down button at the end of the From box.

If you do, you have to select what From account you want to be used for the
e-mail.

Good point.

Too bad that Verizon will probably have the OP reinstall Windows. ;-(

Thanks to everyone who responded. I've been messing with Outloo
Express for two solid
days. Don't know what I did, but it's working fine now
