OutLook Express 6.0 etc. with MSWorks 8.0 Question

How do you disable Notepad from being the HTML editor for the computer so
that one can use MSWorks 8.0 instead? I've tried everything that my brain
has thought of?
Can someone help me, pleeza, pleeza?

Open Internet Explorer.

Click on Tools / Internet Options and select the Programs tab.

Against HTML editor, you can select various programs from a
drop-down box. On my PC, I could select Notepad or Microsoft
Word for Windows.

However, I don't know whether MSWorks 8.0 will function as an
HTML editor.
