Outlook.exe CPU 100% opening "Other User's Folder":
I'm stuck, any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a better group to
submit this to?
My user, Fred, is running Outlook 2003 on XP Pro. Fred's Outlook works fine
on his computer.
Outlook hangs on other PCs with 100% cpu utilization when users attempt to
access fred's calendar from their Outlook. You must End Task and reopen
Outlook to get it back on line. Fred experiences no issues, but the people
who need to see his calendar are stuck.
They connect to Fred's calendar using File>Open>Other User's Folder or by
adding the mailbox in the advanced settings. Outlook hangs in both cases.
All Windows 2000 Pro computers With Outlook 2002 on the LAN experience this
issue. The other XP Pro Outlook 2003 PC accesses Fred's Calendar with a small
delay.
Server is Exchange 2000 on Windows 2000 server.
Tried restarting Exchange services, rebooting Exchange, repair install of
Office on Fred's PC, and starting other user's outlook in safe mode. Does
this sound like mailbox corruption? What can I do?
