Outlook Error Message after Renaming Personal Folder

Help! I renamed the default Personal Folder by locating the Personal Folder
and renaming it. Now, when I open outlook I get response that the Outlook
folder cannot be found. I searched and finally found it, but the folder with
calendar, files, etc. still does not display. Any way to fix this?

By now I trust you've read enough posts to know that is the best way to
corrupt your Outlook profile. You never rename a PST file. As for the rest,
clarify your question. It makes no sense.

FIXED!!!! Duuuhh! I used restore point.

System restore can only change your configuration, not your data. When you
disconnect a PST file from a profile, you reconnect it by simply opening it
in Outlook.
Any changes you make to your PST file must be made from within Outlook.

If, when Outlook complains that it can't find the folders and you browse to
the correct PST, select it, and click OK, then you will have all your
folders back just as you had them. It appears you had more than one PST and
you chose the wrong one. So, you'll have to use File>Open>Outlook Data File
(from within Outlook) to open the correct PST and make it your delivery
location. It's usually best to enable viewing hidden files and folders in
Control Panel's Folder Options in order to make this as easy as it can be.

Thank you, so much, Brian. Your response was very helpful and clear. By the
time I saw your suggestion, I activated a restore point, which essentially
worked. The folders in the default Personal Folder came back; the default
folder has the new name. I'm leaving well enough alone. Again, thank you for
taking the time to answer my question, which was not done by the first
respondent. I indicated in the ratings that you answered the question. If
