Outlook contacts, duplicate listing

Using Outlook 2002, contacts were not showing up when clicking the To: button
and selecting Contacts in the Show Names From box. I right clicked the
Contacts folder and selected properties. I clicked the "Outlook Address Book"
tab and checked the "Show this folder as an e-mail address book" check box.

This worked, but now in the Show Names From box, it lists Contacts twice.
One shows the data when selected, one does not. How do I get rid of the
extra listing? Thanks!

Tell us what you mean by "shows the data when selected." What data?

Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories otr address
books>Next. Select Outlook Address Book and click Change. Remove the
unwanted folder there.
