Outlook blocking outgoing message

Over the last few days, I am receing emails ok but my Outlook (2003) is
blocking outgoing emails with the following error message 550 from the System
Administrator:

Client host rejected: Access denied due to suspected mass-mailing trojan
activity (vw)

I thought the idea was to avoid me getting done. I have Kaspersky which is
up to date and has dealt with all current threats. My broadband is with
Pipex. I have tried both sites for latest information on what might be
happening to other people as well but can find nothing directly relevant.

Kaspersky has dealt with:
trojan-spy.html.paylap.m and
trojan-spy.html.amazofraud.p (modification)

which are referred to in other forms but none relating to Outlook
intervening. Can anyone advise how I can get Outlook to let me send messages
again? Thanks.

Well, it isn't Outlook blocking you, it's the ISP who runs the SMTP server
you're trying to send via. Have you asked them directly?

Thank you for that advice. I have contacted Pipex and await an email reply.
I thought it was just Outlook because I thought hotmail was ok but that is
affected too. I shall report back when I get a response from them. Thank
you so much for pointing me in a direction.

I am awaiting their reply.

Hi WendyJ have you resolved this? I have it too. I phoned Pipex and they believe I have a trojan virus which their server is picking up and bouncing back instantly. This happens even with a one word test message. I've used adaware and Avg -- no threats detected. When I send a message it's getting past avg, which is fully up to date.

anyone got a suggestion?
