Outlook Blocking Attachments

I often need to e-mail attachments between home and work that have an .exe,
..com, or .zip extension, but Outlook routinely blocks these.

How can I prevent Outlook from blocking these types of attachments?

ZIP files should go through fine though, that is unless some specific changes
were made. In fact, that is what Microsoft recommends:
