Outlook being requested by 3rd party...or is it Outlook itself?

I'll just start at the beginning but it should be quick...

I did a clean install of WinXP Pro SP2 on a machine. Immediately upon
install I always run windows update and then install/update all virus
software. I also install SpyBot set it to immunize and I personally don't
EVER have a problem on MY machine.

I give this machine back to a friend, however, and they end up with Netsky
virus. I can't remember the exact revision of it that they got, but I know
that Norton AntiVirus would find it during a scan and could NOT quarantine
it.

I d/l and ran (following all instructions closely) removal tools from both
symantec AND mcafee...both of which could not find the virus at all.

I then did a search for the exact file name...again I cannot remember
exactly...and tried to find a removal for the exact one (vs. simply netsky.)
The guide that I was direct to was symantec web site and it said to simply do
the virus scan, let it quarantine what it can and then just delete all the
files that it shows as infected. I did this with no problems.

Now, upon running a full system scan with norton it finds no virii.
However, when I try and send an email through Outlook 2002 on this machine I
get a message:

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have storedin Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?

If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose No."

We just say No and it opens the new email like normal and I can write/send
just fine. Why is this coming up though??? They say it didn't happen when
they first installed Office...only a couple days later when they also saw
they had gotten Netsky. Now, Norton says NetSky is gone..or at least can't
find it anymore, but the message in Outlook is still popping up.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
