outlook attached word doc embedded picture not opening

We have 5 users in our office and just 1 pc this happens on. When it recieves
documents that have pictures embedded in the document (letter head) then the
picture does not display when opening the document. Makes no difference if we
open from Outlook or save the attachment and open it outside of Outlook.

Any suggestions what is happening.
I have service pack 2 loaded on all the machines

This suggests to me that it may not be an Outlook issue; that your senders
may have included a link to the image instead of the actual image.

As mentioned this only happens on the one pc.
If recived by the other pc's and the rest of the big wide world, the
document opens correctly.
We email the same document to hundreds of clients with no problems.

Any document with a graphic/pic, typically letterheads etc. it then "loses"
the pic
