Outlook adds blank lines in Reply Signature - how to stop?

Hello,

I hope someone can help me with this irritating issue. When I attach a
signature in a new e-mail message, the signature looks just as it was
created. However, when I reply to an e-mail, Outlook intersperses blank
lines between each line of the Signature. How do I get this to stop?
