Outlook 2007 will not send

T

I am running Outlook 2007 on a Vista 64 machine. Outlook has been running
fine on this computer since I got it about 2 months ago. Now it will not send
messages (although it appears to be receiving messages fine). The messages
are tiny and have no attachments, so it's not a size issue. I've tried
deleting them from the Outbox, closing Outlook and rebooting, etc. and
nothing seems to help. There have been no new installations or updates on my
computer since Outlook last worked correctly. Outlook downloads e-mail from
more than one account, so I tried sending with different accounts, but that
doesn't work (indicating the problem is not with the e-mail server but with
Outlook).

Please help!

Thanks, tdp

Scanning your in and outgoing emails with your AV by any chance ? If so then
uninstall your Anti Virus and then re-install it without the email
integration(scanning email) feature. Disabling (scanning) it alone is not enough,
you need to do the above for it to take effect

What exactly does "will not send" mean? What happens instead? Any errors?
What types of accounts?
