whenever i try to search using outlook 2007 search the result alwayse no
matching results even i am searching for something there. what is the
problem?
Hello I have same problem. I have Vista. I can search but only old items. I
have found some tips for fixing (RTF content indexing to enable). It worked
few days and I was back.
Check you are Indexing and Searching your Personal Folders. Indexing
settings are in Indexing Options in Control Panel. Search Settings are in
Tools | Options Preferences > Search Options.
Sometimes the problem can be that the drive the PST resides on is not being
indexed or insufficient time has been given for the index to be created.
Hello Bill, I have still same problem, I have indexed only emails resided on
OST not PST and until 2.2.2007. Very interesting. I have tried to disable
cached mode and indexing and reenable it again. Nothing helped. I have PST
resided on the indexed drive and it is 1GB sized. Any idea what to do ?
Thank you.
OK I'm giving up... I have disabled Windows Search service, unchecked disk
drives to be indexed and deleted index files and finaly installed Google
Desktop...
