Outlook 2007.pst problem

Have recently had to reinstall Office 2007 and Small Business Manager (with
Outlook 2007). I had previously saved my personal folders as a .pst on a CD.
Unfortunately, when all was installed I discovered I had inadvertently asked
for duplicates to be created - so I now have two Personal Folders. One of
these is the import with all my e-mails. However, since reinstall, everytime
I open Outlook 2007, an error box is telling me it cannot find Outlook.pst
file (Drive E). When I click Cancel, it opens a Windows file list. I have
also tried to delete the unwanted Personal Folder but there is no Delete
option included in the drop-down box.. I have also uninstalled and
reinstalled Office 2007 as before, but the box still comes up telling mne it
cannot find Outlook.pst. Any ideas? Thanks. barry76

Uninstalling has no impact on data files, though a backup is allways wise.
Had you simply reinstalled Office it would have connected to your origonal
data.
You cannot import your pst data from a cd, so you must have done something
else, what was it?

Thanks DL. I have since posting this question sorted this by deleting the
rogue Outlook profile in the e-mail configuration. Thanks for your response
anyway. Regards. barry76
