Outlook 2007 Not Responding

I have Vista Ultimate and MS Office Small Business. I can not get Outlook
2007 to function correctly. I keep getting "Microsoft Outlook Not
Responding". This happens on every function of Outlook that I try. Any
suggestions?

Did you upgrade from a previous Outlook version or was this a clean install?

Thank you. This is a OEM install on a new laptop. (Dell XPS M1210). I have
uninstalled and re-installed and still have problems. I have synced with my
PDA but had problems before doing this.

Try running the Office Diagnostics from Outlook's Help menu (or the help menu
of another Office 2007 product if you can't get to Outlook's) and see if that
makes a difference.

Jocelyn,

Thank you for the response. I ran this right away and it didn't come up
with any solutions. I've run a few other times with the same outcome. The
Outlook program is still not working properly as I keep getting the "Outlook
is not respoding" message. Dell couldn't help me and told me to contact
Microsoft. I'm really stuck on this one. Any input is appreciated.

Try the solution recommended by "Roady" on 7/31 it worked for me. I had the
same problem as you. However, you can just delete your current profile and
enter a new one. Roady provides a road map for this.

Sorry for the late response -- I must have forgotten to ask the system to
send me a notification of new posts to the thread.

Have you tried creating a new mail profile? See
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm for instructions.
