outlook 2007 network password popup

Enter network password keeps comming up in outlook 2007 and I select the Save
this password in your password list and nothing happens. It still keeps
comming up after some time. The only way to get rid of it is to click cancel.
Please help me get rid of this. Thank You.

If you are using Vista, the following worked for me when I had the same
problem. Simply delete the folder
c:\users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Protect

The folder and its contents will regenerate when required.

This is a variation of the solution that is published for Windows XP in the
MS Knowledge Base (I forgetthe number).

Hope it works for you.
