Outlook 2007 error opening/creating messages

After successful, no problem work for 6-7 months, my Outlook 2007 Ver.
12.0.4518.1014 on Vista Business with all required updates suddenly
start generating "Cannot open this item. The text formatting command
is not available. It may not be installed correctly. Install Microsoft
Office Outlook again." pop-ups when I try to open an incoming email.
The Reading Pane does not show message text either. Creating new
messages produces the same pop-ups.

- Reinstallation of the Office 2007 seemed to fix the problem for rest
of the day, but after a reboot, on the next morning the issue re-
appeared again.
- Checking my OST/PST files reveals no errors.
- Creating a new profile (Control Panel | Mail), as it was suggested
in other posts, doesn't help in this case.
- At the same time, if the Outlook is started in Safe mode, the
messages could be opened and created as expected.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Sergei

Outlook 2007 Ver. 12.0.4518.1014

That's not an updated Outlook

When it works in Safe Mode it would indicate an addin issue or that you need
to reset your dat-files;http://www.msoutlook.info/question/19

Robert - Thanks a LOT for your suggestion, resetting outcmd.dat (I
didn't have extend.dat) fixed the problem!
