Outlook 2007 Beta Inbox

Hey,

When I receive mail from my gmail account, I am not able to access any new
messages since I've switched to the beta.

The Inbox folder indicates that there are unread messages, as does the
Unread Mail folder. When I click on the inbox, there are no messages newer
than 6/27/06 (all of which had been read while it was Outlook 2003), and when
I click on the Unread Mail folder it indicates that there are no messages to
display, in spite of the (89) messages that would be indicated by the number
next to the Unread Mail folder. I double checked to make sure that the number
indicated the number of unread messages.

I was able to open a message dated 7/14/2006 that Outlook had deemed junk
mail and placed into the Junk E-mail folder. But that's about all of the luck
I have had.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Did you attempt an in-place update to the beta? If so, nothing would be
expected to work unless you create a new Outlook profile from scratch. If
your data file is damaged, for example, there is no way to repair it in
Outlook 2007 beta 2. In place updates are not supported yet and should never
be attempted without thorough backups of your data and a good plan for
backing out of the beta.

Do you have any filters applied? You can try starting Outlook with the
/cleanviews switch to make sure there is no corrupt view anywhere.
If that doesn't help, I'd try creating a new profile via Control Panel,
Mail to which you add your current PST and gmail account.
