outlook 2007 attachment

hi there.
when i drag or click on the attachment icon in the inlcude panel, the file
goes directly into the text (where i write the email) instead of the
"attached" section (under "To..", "Cc..." and "Subject"

hope this makes sense and thanks for the help

Are you using RTF message format? Attachments are embedded in the message
body in RTF. Use plain text or HTML to show it in the header.
