[Outlook 2003] "you made changes to another copy of this item"

Hi All,
A user hss the following message: you made changes to another copy of this
item
on some of his mail items. How does it appear and is there a solution for
that?

We tried to rebuilt his OST but the problem reappeared.
Is there another step we can take?
