Outlook 2003 Spontaneously Closes

Frequently, just after opening Outlook 2003, I click on the Inbox for an
IMAP email account in the "Favorites" folder. When I do this, Outlook 2003
spontaneously closes.

I reopened Outlook 2003, went to "Help", and clicked on "Detect and Repair".
The repair was supposed done. The same problem occurred.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what is going on?

Solution found:

I was able to "fix" this problem by deleting the IMAP account, rebooting,
and then re-entering the account.
