Outlook 2003 sp1

Sorry to all about the lack of information.
I have a Dell Xeon Win XP pro. Office 2003 pro outlook 2003 sp1. This is an
upgrade from the pent 3 dell laptop I still have with Win 2000 pro and
outlook 2002 and which can still send 5, 6 or 7 ms emails.
It is only since I changed to Outlook 2003 that I have a problem. I tsits in
the que and times out. I have already turned off the VP and it made no
difference. Small emails work great and much faster. But large attachments
(usually pdf filers) won't go.

Sounds like you might be behind a broadband router that lets you share a
single IP address with many computers. Try taking a peek at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q314825 to see if
enabling EnablePMTUBHDetect registry key works for you.

And if Neo's idea doesn't pan out, make sure you're not scanning mail with a
virus scanner.

I need the outlook 2000 sp1 installed on my computer so that I can install
Franklyn Covey software. I searched mircosoft.com and to no vail. Can someone
help?
get me a link? pointer? to donwload? Is the sp1 in the original office 2000
cd?

do you need 2003 sp1 or 2000 sp1?

2000 sp1 - good luck. It's been superseded by later patches.

or download the recently released sp2 - use help, check for updates to
install it.
