outlook 2003 repetitive reception of all emails.

I just installed windows xp professional on a fresh formatted machine. Also,
I installed AVG anti virus software. After that I installed office 2003
including outlook 2003. After I configured my pop3 and smpt settings for my
yahoo/sbc global account, I started receiving emails stored in my yahoo
account.

The problem is that after the first time it recevied close to 5000 emails.
It started to receive all those 5000 emails all over again. Last time I
checked, it was receiving the emails for the 4th time. Its very annoying and
I don't know how to stop it.

Please let me know if my question still needs more clarification.

PLease help and TIA...

First, make sure you have applied Office 2003 SP-2. Then, start with a
clean mail profile.
