Not receiving emails in 2003 Outlook.

I have a POP3 email account with Outlook 2003. For the first time I am not
receiving emails into Inbox although the Send/Receive icon is showing I am
receiving. Nothing ever shows up. Have checked all settings. I am receiving
all emails on secondary computer and on my Blackberry. Deleted default
account and then added back. "Send Test Email" in account settings is
checking out fine. Emails are not in Junk Mail or Anti Spam file. I'm in day
three. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hey Gerry:

I'm having the exact same issue. Vista running legacy Outlook 2003 has a
major problem with POP3 severs. Interestingly you can use the new Windows
Mail app, aka Outlook Express, to handle your POP3 server without any issue.
It's been suggested that I try a 'clean install of Vista' to try and solve my
OUTLOOK email issue. At least you can use Express to send and receive emails,
so if you need give it a try.

Thanks for your response. I reinstalled Windows
XP but it did not resolve the problem. I am running Norton 2005
Security. I suspended the Anti-
Spam scan and that did resolve the problem. My next step is to contact
Norton but the Anit-Spam is no great loss. Thanks again for your help and the
tip on Express options in a pinch.
