Outlook 2003 problems.

When i tried sending emails to anyone that had a different @address to me
[any external email addy] , I was getting error messages of 'could not send
message to all of intended recipients'. I was instructed on one site to tick
the 'use same setting as my incoming mail server' box which i did. Now my
email's aren't sending to anyone.

Can anyone help me in sorting out both problems? It's fairly urgent.

Whether or not you enable authentication to the outgoing server and whether
or not you use the same credentials as you use for the incoming server
depends entirely on whether or not the incoming and outgoing servers are
part of the same domain and whether your sending mail address's domain
matches the domain of the outgoing server. Post your server names, the
ports you're using and the domain of the sending address you're using. Did
you consult your ISP yet?
