Hi,
I recently upgraded several employees to outlook 2003
(from Outlook 2002). I moved their PST files to the
appropriate folder, fired up outlook 2003, everything
seemed fine.
However, I'm seeing two instances of "personal folders",
yet only one is shown when I view the PST files via "data
file management" menu.
One of the instances of "personal folders" has a little
house/clock icon in front of it. The other has a regular
folder icon in front of it. Otherwise, these are
identical - same email, contacts, etc. (mirror images of
each other)
Also, if I right-click one of the Personal Folders then
click "properties", and then try to click the "advanced"
button, I get an error message that says...
"The operation failed. An object could not be found"
So far there are no problems I can see, but I've obviously
done something wrong and I want to be sure this strange
problem won't trip us up later.
Any idea how to get the number of Personal Folders down to
one, and how to fix the problem causing the error message
above?
Thanks,
Warren
