Outlook 2003 Downloads all mail

Hi
Is there a setting that prevents Outlook 2003 from downloading all the
emails? There are thousands of emails on the server (Windows 2000) and
I don't want all the messages downloaded. I want to download just the
headers and leave the attachments on the server.
