Outlook 2003 and Palm Hot Sync

I just upgraded to Outlook 2003. Now my PalmV11x won't hot sync. I
downloaded the Palm upgrade Palm Desktop 4.1.4 for Windows. I run on Windows
2000 v.5.0.
And I still can't get a connection between the Palm and Outlook. Is there a
setting in Outlook where I tell it to accept the Hot Sync? or other solution?
Thanks!

What conduit program do you use for syncing with Outlook -- perhaps Chapura
PocketMirror? Did you configure PocketMirror to work with Outlook 2003?

I don't know if or how my PalmVIIx works with Chapura or PocketMirror though
I know the Palm website talks about it. My solution was to have my HotSync
manager set to Local Serial and not Local USB. The Palm asks for Direct
Serial which is unclear since the HotSync manager does not have that as an
option.
Thank you for your reply!

Hi Jocelyn,
New problem, it acts like it hot syncs but it does not actually transfer a
calendar appt from the Palm to Outlook 2003 and vice versa. I put a test
entry on each on and sync'd and neither entry was trasnfered to the other
application.

I checked my Pocket Mirror settings and it says Install is Enabled, and I've
tried various options for System to have Palm override Outlook and vice versa
but nothing
works. Is there a patch I need to install? Thanks!

You might want to try reinstalling PocketMirror and then reconfiguring it...
