Outlook 2002 - VPN - Exchange Server

R

Robert Crook

I use Outlook 2002 (2 licensed copies on 2 Windows 2000
Pro machines) to connect to MS Exchange Server via the
Internet. Due to the Blaster Virus, Outlook 2002 <--
Exchange Server packets are being blocked at router RPC
ports - mostly at cable ISPs. My ISP is RoadRunner.
My Exchange Server hosting folks tell me they can set up a
VPN connection. I know nothing about how this works - or
what I need to do to configure my IP. Can anyone please
point me to the information?
Thanks all,
Robert

You can ask the Exchange folks once they send you the VPN client. It
depends on the client that they select as to how it works.
