I have a registry problem with Outlook 2002 msxml3 files. Whenever I attempt
to send and receive on outlook, the following error occurs (0x800745A) at
first then followed by a (0x8004210A) and (0x8004210B) error messages. I
checked the first error message discription. The problem seems to be
unregistered msxml3a.dll and msxml3r.dll files located in C:\Windows\System32
folder. The msxml3a.dll file was copied from another computer and msxml3r.dll
file was already available. Both files failed on a Run Regserv32 attempt. The
error message on attempted manual registration was as follows:
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\msxml3r.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry
point was not found. This file can not be registered." The registering of
msxml3.dll was OK. Please offer suggestion to correct this problem. Thank
You. - Duce61

Try renaming the file to, say, msxml2a.dll and performing a Help>Detect and
Repair in any Office app.

Thank you for suggestion on the use of help and repair. I tried your
recommendation. Unfortunately, it does not work. The problem is more
complicated. It involves the corruption of msxml3a.dll and msxml3r.dll files
located in the System32 folder found in Windows. An article in Microsoft
Support with URL

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836982

gives some information about the problem. It involves the upgrade or
reinstall the Microsoft XML parser. I did find this program on my computer.
However, I don't know how to use it. Can anyone give me guidance how to use
this article for repair of Outlook system files? Thanks
