Outlook 2002 out of office reply not working

I setup one of my co-worker's Outlook to show an out of office reply whenever
she got an email (she is currently on maternity leave). But when I test it
internally to our Exchange 2000 environment, 99% of the time I don't get the
reply. I also tested it from several POP3 email accounts, but NEVER got her
out of office reply. Other people's out of office replies are working fine.

When you tested it internally, did you test it from the same account more
than once? The OOA will reply to an address only once. Test it from
multiple accounts.

Also, by default, Exchange will not reply to any external address. That's a
setting that can be changed.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
