Auto Reply questin

I have a user who is going on maternity leave for 8 months.

She would like to have an auto reply on her mailbox like an out of office
message. is there a way of setting this, but of also having new messages
deleted from the mailbox automatically so that the mailbox doesn't fill up?

Cheers in advance.

How about you tell us some basics like:

what version of Outlook?
are you on Exchange?

anything else you think might help us understand what you see about your
situation that we cannot because we are not there with you..

Sure, sorry.

We are on Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003 and our mailbox size limit is 75MB
which isn't that much at all - we are a publishing company and get lots of
attachments.

Thanks.

You can turn on Out Of Office on her system and then make aRule to delete
all incoming emails from her Inbox. You could add some excpetions so that
email from key customers isn't deleted.

You could give a colleague access to her Inbox and have them check her email
regularly (my preference as a human will provide better customer service
than a computer!).

I hope this helps you at least a little bit.
