Outlook 2002: Email attachments in '.dat' format ?

S

Shane

I sent my self around 4mb of .jpg's from home (outlook
express 6) to my work email address (outlook 2002,
exchange 2003).

When received, the email had spilt into 2 emails both with
an attached file of 2mb with a .dat extension.

How can I view the jpg's in this file? And why had it
converted to .dat?

Thanks
Shane

Disable the splitting of the files in the Account configuration of OE and
make sure you are able to send 4MB attachments at home and receive at work.
Otherwise split the attachment with a tool like WINZip or WinRAR or send
multiple e-mails.
