Outlook 2002 - Autosuggest/Memory Cache?

I have a user in my office who advises that his autosuggest is not working
properly. He advises that it will work, then not work.

He is "manually" typing in the email address of the person he wants to send
the email to in the "To" field, and it will work that day, but the next day
it does not.

Does Outlook 2002 have some sort of a memory cache (like Word, where the
last 9 files opened will show on the File menu) where if you continually
manually type in the e-mail addresses, eventually the "older" ones get
cleared out?

I have suggested that he put those emails into his contacts, but he does not
want to, and I have asked that he try to use the Alt+K when the name does not
autosuggest, but again, he does not want to.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
