Why didn't you say so? It's very hard to answer questions when there is
no
information.
Outlook 2000 has no such feature. Versions of Outlook earlier than
Outlook
2002 have no autocompletion feature. They have a feature called
auto-resolution. If you enter part of a name or a nickname then tab out
of
the field (or hit Alt-K [Check Names]), Outlook will attempt to resolve
the
name against your address book. If it can't it'll red underline it and
you
can right click on the name to manually resolve it. Outlook will save the
resolution for future use.

Hi Russ, it is OUtlook 2000. I know its not on because as I keep
sending
to
the same individual, I need to keep retyping the whole email address.
So,
no, the default is not on. Thanks for your response.

You've posted no information.
What Outlook version?
If it is on by default, then it is on. Why do you think it isn't?
You won't see it work until you've send enough messages to populate
your
autocompletion cache.

I just went from Outlook Express to Outlook and I noticed I do not
have
autosuggest name completion any longer. When I read the online
help,
it
tells me that this feature is a default. It tells me how to turn it
off,
but
not how to turn it back on. Can someone please help.
Thank you!
