Outlook 2000 & Win98SE

I'm runing Win98SE and Office Pro 2000 on a Toshiba
Satellite 2530CDS. For some reason, Outlook 2000 is
having a couple of problems: "Services" doesn't show on
the Tools menu; and, the "Customize Outlook Today" button
doesn't respond to clicks. I can't change, or customize
the Outlook Today pages (except by changing registry
values: outlk4.htm, etc.)

I have gone through the Knowledge Base articles, and
haven't really found anything that addresses these
particular issues. I have tried "Detect & Repair," and
even re-installed Office 2000.

The only other programs that I am running that may be
causing the problem are PlanPlus for Outlook, and ACT!
v6.0.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bill Harding

Try this for the Outlook Today problem
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;820575, as to not
having Services this sounds like you are in Internet Only mode rather than
Corporate/Workgroup mode. To check this go to Help > About > 2nd line, if it
says Internet Only mode and you want this changed to Corporate/Workgroup
then go to Tools > Options > 2nd tab from left called I think Mail Services
then click on the button at the bottom that says Reconfigure Mail Support
(or something like that, getting old :)),. this will start a change mode
Wizard where you will get prompted for your installation media.

Thanks Robert. Both fixes worked perfectly!
