Outlook 2000 SP-3 closes when new message arrives

Has anyone seen the behaviour where Outlook 2000 SP-3 closes down when a new
message arrives in the inbox? It has started happening to me recently and
it's driving me mad. Fortunately it only happens with the first one or two
mails that arrive and after that I seem to be alright for the rest of the day
- but that just makes it all the more infuriating to diagnose. The only
thing I can think of is that I also have the Plaxo toolbar installed - I'm
reluctant to uninstall Plaxo as I find it so useful. But if anyone can point
me to a possible solution then I'd be very grateful.

If you were to search this and the other Outlook groups you'd see how many
times Plaxo causes problems in Outlook.
