I have been using Outlook 2003 with Plaxo for almost a year now. Yesterday I
also installed Motorola Phone Tools 3.0 which also has a synch feature with
Outlook. When I tried to open Outlook again, the system gave me the "serious
error with Plaxo, was disabled," and then completely shut down. I tried three
times to open the program, same result. Uninstalling Plaxo, Phone Tools, and
creating a new mail profile in Control Panel- Mail- Profiles also did not do
any good. I have seen this problem happen multiple times during my Google
searches, but it seems that no one has a solution or a reason why this is
happening. I am running SP 2. Can anyone provide some assistance? Seems like
every version of outlook eventually ends up dying somehow -I'm to the point
where I just want to recover my archived mail from Outlook and give up on it
entirely & switch to Thunderbird or The Bat.
