Outlook 2000 pst problem

All of a sudden, I'm getting this error msg:

Unable to display the folder. Errors have been detected in the file
C:\....\outlook.pst. Quit all mail-enabled applications, and then use the
Inbox Repair Tool

I ran the Inbox Repair Tool and it quit during phase 4 of 8 saying that no
files were changed. I can see the outlook.pst file...all 2gigs worth, ugh.
I'm DYING to get this file. I'm a LOOSER and do not have a backup (although
went out and bought a backup harddrive tonight). Is there anyway to get this
file back?!?!?!

Your pst is oversize pre Outlook 2003 the pst has a 2gb size limitation,
though problems can appear from 1.6gb
You will need to reduce its size & lose data in the process.
Before you start the process make a copy of the file and work on the copy

PS in future use the archive feature, and remember the archive also has the
same size limitation
