Outlook 2000 -- Junk E-Mail

E-mail from some senders within my company is going into the Junk E-Mail
folder, while others are staying in the Inbox. This is happening regardless
of content. All our e-mail addresses show up as "FirstName LastName
[[email protected]]" or "FirstName MiddleInitial. LastName
[[email protected]]

I am using the following settings:

In Inbox...Organize, Junk and Adult Filters are turned on; however, I don't
have anything in the actual lists of Junk Senders or Adult Senders

In the Rules Wizard, Exception List, I have added the e-mail addresses of
the senders who have been going into the Junk Folder that I want to remain in
the Inbox. My Exception List rule is at the top of all rules in the Rule
Wizard.

We are on an Intranet, and this site says "The Exception rule will not work
for e-mail addresses within your own intranet."

If the junk filters are enabled in OL 2000, then it's certainly possible for
mail from anyone to be flagged as junk, if the body of the message contains
one of the strings that OL 2000 uses to flag junk mail. I don't see any
"safe senders" list in OL 2000

Are you aware of any add-on programs that might be helpful. I am crippled by
junk, while e-mail from people in the next room is going into the junk
folder, regardless of content in the body of the e-mail. Are you familiar
with Outlook Express. Does it have a better junk mail filter?

http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/ is one that many people like.

Sorry, it's just not true that it's "regardless of the content in the body".
And Outlook 2000 doesn't have a junk folder, unless you created one yourself
and added a rule to move the messages there or are already using an add-in
that created it and is moving items to it. Outlook 2000's approach to junk
mail is simply to color the subject lines of the suspect messages.
Are you familiar with Outlook Express. Does it have a better
junk mail filter?

Yes, I am and it has NO junk mail filter.
