Outlook 2000 client

Hi there,
We are going to install Exchange server 5.5 and we are thinking to
deploy Outlook 2000 on the client. I heard Outlook 2000 checks always for
connectivity with the server and sometimes it hangs the whole PC when it
cannot connect to the server. Are there any best practices for running
Outlook? Thanks a lot.

Installing a server that will end support next month and a client that has
already ended support seems to me to be a silly course of action for any
business. Why are you going the way of the dinosaur?
