outlook 07 appears 2 no longer support attachments on tasks-true?

you used to be able to take an email in outlook and rt mouse click drag it to
a task. Then the systen asks if you want to add as text, as an attachment,
or just a task. It creates the task then says you can't save attachments in
tasks. So the question is if this worked for the last 2-3 versions of
outlook and if the menu option is there...why is it no longer supported...or
is it some setting somewhere?

Help ! ??

It has always worked for me and still does (on 2007). I use Tasks
extensively and teach people from many organisations to use them.

Can you please be more exact and I'll try to help you.

How are you dragging the Email to the Tasks? Which option do you choose
when you release? Exactly what does it say?

Thanks for the reply...I am using a right click drag like I used to for
years, then selecting the create task and add as an attachment option. The
system "creates" the task, then adds the attachment AOK as always...then when
I go to close the task I get an error that attachments are not supported.

I am using hotmail/outlook live and not exchange so that may be the issue
the more I think about it.

Thoughts?
