Turn Around Time Reporting of Outlook Tasks

Henry

I am using Outlook to assign tasks in my Group, when I receive an e-mail
request for services, I drag and drop the e-mail onto the "Task" bar on the
Navigation Pane.

(I then have to manually drag and drop any attachments into the task - but
that may be an enhancement request for later)

I then assign the task to one of my engineers with additional instructions,
a required completion date and priority level assigned (sometimes an estimate
of hours to complete...)

The Engineer then records his progress and notes on scope changes, problems
etc... (which updates the task in my Outlook - Great feature!)

Now, what I would like to do is create a report which provides:

1) When I recieve the request (e-mail date)

2) When I assign the task (how long it sits in my Inbox)

3) When the task is completed by the engineer(marked 100%).

This is all to verify performance of our personnel (and me as our
responsiveness to service requests) which we can show to the CEO and our
customers.

I know each task may change in scope, but this is recorded in the task
description.

Also, can I export this data to Microsoft Project?

Thanks,

Henry

Good Morning,

I was hoping to use outlook to create these reports of turn around time, if
it does not have this capability, can a macro be written to extract this
information from the series of e-mails?

Thanks,

H.
