Outlook '03 insists on printing in landscape??

Despite the fact that the memo style is set to print in portrait mode, when I
try to print out an email message it comes out in landscape. If I actually
open a specific message I can manually change the orientation , but
printing from the preview window automagically decides that the orientation
should be landscape....

It's been doing this for several weeks now, how can I set it back to the
original settings?

Check the Printer Properties in Start | Control Panel | Printers & something
or other - and make sure your default is set for Portrait.

Thanks, that seems to do it.... appreciate the help

odd that every other application I've got (including those from our good
friends in Redmond) seems to ignore the printer's defaults and use their own
settings... One would think that if Outlook is going to allow you to specify
a print style, it might consider paying attention to it....

just another fine piece of software from Microsoft
