Outllokk 2003 and Exchange 2003

Hi
When my XP(sp2) laptop is docked in the office under my local profile it
syncronises with the *.ost file in that profile.
When I am remote, I use a differnt profile and have been able to VPN in to
the exchange server, but it then syncs with the *.ost in my offline profile.
I have managed to get my online and off line *.pst to be the same for my
IPAQ PDA, but I am having no luck with my *.ost for the exchange.
Any help appreciated.

Why do you have PSTs if you're synchronizing with Exchange. The OST allows
you to use the same profile whether online or off and have Outlook behave
the same. With a VPN you should be able to use the exact same Exchange
credentials whether in the office or out and your PDA should sync in either
case.

Hi Brian
My PDA has personal information in it and has nothing to do with the
business information on Exchange. That is why I use the pst.
I was able to access the pst in both profiles by being able to change
location in the tools and option menus, but cannot find any way of doing the
same with the ost.
When i do a search for ost, I find one in each profile.
Regards
Ken

You can't sync with an OST.
