Out of Office Assistant

I have office 2003 and small business server 2003, so my outlook is connected
to an exchange server. When I turn on the out of office Assistant, it
correctly automatically replies to incoming e-mails from the intranet that is
from other people in my office connected to the same exchange server.
However, it does not auto reply to incoming e-mail from the Internet, for
example from MSN accounts or other external e-mail accounts.

How do I turn on the out of office notification for external incoming
e-mail? Thank anyone for their help.

Most of us have the opposite problem - how to keep from auto replying to
internet traffic - especially junk. Spammmers love getting any reply - It
means your address is valid.
