[OT] Free Newsgroups

Well, Comcast decides to give you Giganews as part of their plan...
however, I was wondering if anyone knew any free newsgroup servers?

I'm not looking for binaries, just the ability to post - and
anonymously. Every service i have found posts information about the
sender with the post.

..... is the best free server. You will need a working email addy to post,
but a tossaway Hotmail will work, ok. It does show your newsreader, but if
this is too much "personal information", download XNews for posting, etc.

Sign up for a free account, and they will send you a logon password in a day
or two.

I'm using news.teranews.com via outlook. It's free (well, practically free,
as I remember there was a $2 + change one time sign up). Pretty good, lots
of groups. I munge my email address in outlook which seems to be working.
