Does anyone know if Microsoft is going to release an Access version for the
Mac (OSX)? If not, do you know of a good workaround? Thanks!

Access has never had a Mac version and I don't expect Microsoft to do one in
the future ...

I believe some Mac can run both Mac OS and Windows OS ... If this is not the
case, you may need to run some Windows OS emulation software in Mac OS and
run Access in this emulation. At least, that what I did years ago with a
Mac.

Microsoft have not announced any plans to release a version of Access for
the Mac. Obviously, I can't say that it will never happen, but I don't
expect it to happen any time soon.

I don't have any Mac experience, but I understand there is a Terminal
Server-compatible Remote Desktop client for the Mac. So one possible
workaround might be to use Remote Desktop to give Mac users access (no pun)
to Access applications on a Terminal Server.

if you used SQL Server then you could use JDBC for example

MDB is for lepers and retards; it shouldn't be used ever for anything;
not for a single record and a single user
