Orphan ICMP responses

I've got lots of W2K pro machines that are sending
unsolicited ICMP responses to IP addresses that appear in
their TCP/IP config. Seems like anything that appears in
ipconfig is getting this traffic whether that is populated
by DHCP or manually. Any ideas..??

Hi John,

ICMP responses when there was no ICMP request? Are you sure? Have you
updated your antivirus software and scanned the clients?
What are the details of the ICMP responses?
