Order of SW Installation in GPO

I would like to know how to control the order of
installations of several package within single GPO. There
is some case that some computers have not power on for
long times and we hope these computers can install all the
versions applied to client within the period they are turn
off. Can the version no. of the package control the
order? If yes, then the package name must be the same,
right? Is there any other way to control the order in AD
Users and Computers Snap-in?

Hi Adonis-

There is no way to specifiy that the software distributed in a single GPO
are processed ina particular order. You can gain some guidance over what
installs when by deploying the packages via separate GPOs and ordering their
processing, but that may not be as easy or granular to order as you may
hope-such as a scenario of specifying A is installed first, B second, et
cetera.
