I have several software installation packages in several
GPO or several packages within a single GPO. How can I
control the installation order in each case?

This may be a language problem ( sorry! ) but which one is
it? Do you have several GPOs and each one installs one
specific application? Or, do you have one GPO which
installs several specific applications?

If you have several GPOs where each one installs one
specific application then you can control the order in
which they are installed by simply placing them in the
specific order you want them installed in the GPO tab for
that specific OU. Remember, the one at the bottom of the
list is installed first and the one at the top of the list
is installed last.

I am not aware of how you would install multiple
applications at one time with one GPO. Unless, of course,
you used WinInstall LE ( located on the WIN2000 Server
CD ) to create a "package". But, then, you really do not
have a choice / possibility to manipulate the order, do
you?

HTH,

Cary
